Any guesses as to how many yards DeMyron will get this year? I am getting pumped to watch him this fall...

I am going to bet 1000 - 1100 yards. Especially since all the defenses will be gunning for him

a bunch...

BTW, what ever happened in the incident downtown with the LEOs ?

1500 yards would be a good start to a winning season...hope he drops 200 on the Sand Aggies.

Is that and exact figure, or do you want a 3% variance, plus or minus?

I think that is how many posts he wants to have by the end of the season.

- 1,250 yards
- 14 touchdowns (2 receiving)
- 1 option pass to Ryan Kennedy (on third down)
- 1 Butkus-like tackle on some poor LB who makes the mistake of picking off a pass

Demyron Martin will get at least 1,250 yards and DON'T forget about Johnnie Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald may gain another 800 himself ! Both of these guy are Big & Fast ! I heard Martin recently ran a 4.47 forty at what about 6' 3" 225lbs. now ? Isn't Fitzgerald 6' 2" 215 and even faster than Martin ? Over 2,000 yards would make another real Pony Express 2 and of course we other guys that certainly have talent if needed. Best group of running backs since "Death Penalty " no question. Block line Block !

Rushing: 1409
Receiving: 473
Touchdowns: 17 (3 receiving, 1 passing  )
1 tackle (fumble :( )

CUSA P.O.Y.

BTW, who will handling kickoff and punt return duties? If he could somehow get one of those gigs, he could easily have 2500 all-purpose yards this year.

well if he runs a 4.47 we can all expect him to run away from defenders-he hasn't shown that ability as of yet.

He was clocked between 4.45 and 4.5 by a slew of NFL scouts. I know one personally, and he said Martin "already has the build and the speed to play in the NFL." He also said that he's very intrigued to see how much stronger and maybe faster Martin can get over the next three seasons. At least one NFL team already has a file on him. (Of course, for all I know, maybe they all have files on every college player in the country.)

I see where you are coming from, but most of the runs I saw last year he was having to break at least one tackle on the line of scrimmage. If our line doesn't get much better, you may never see that 4.47
