How many times did Justin Willis lead Denton Ryan to the Playoffs and each year how far did they get?
Thanks in advance!

Ponydawg,
Sorry it took me so long to reply to your question. I think he was the QB for them in 2003 in the state championship where they lost in triple overtime. Then in 2004 it looks like he led them to the quarter finals before losing to South Lake who won it all. I believe in 2002 he was behind James Battle when they won the Championship and then Battle went off to TCU. Hope this helps.

"2004 Division II Bi-District: Denton Ryan 29 Irving Macarthur 26
9-1 Denton Ryan and 10-0 Irving Macarthur put on a show to remember at Texas Stadium. Senior quarterbacks Duane Brooks (Mac) and Justin Willis (DR) battled brilliantly for four quarters with Willis' side ultimately prevailing. Ryan advanced to the state quarterfinals before losing to eventual champs Southlake Carroll.

In 2003 Ryan lost in triple overtime to Lamarque in the state championship game."

Yes and on that 2003 LaMArque team I think was Wilton McCray. On a side note they never should have beaten Ennis in 2002? I think. It was at Texas Stadium and DR came form about 13 behind in the last minute. Recovered an onside kick with 30 seconds left to score again. THe sad part was the Ennis coach had his regular KR team out there. DR kicked that ball at some guy wearing 64 and he dropped it.
