It's rare that anything of value comes from the other board. They have a great post today, however .... from a Kansas State fan.
With due attribution to "KStateKitten":
"Bill Snyder came to KSU to the WORST program in Div. I. He won zilch his first year, then started turning it around. Now, he is a deity at KSU, warranted or not. But ask anyone in college ball, pundits, commentators, other coaches and they will tell you he got it done. Phil Bennett tutored under him. You cannot expect instant success. You people who blast him, as they did Bill Snyder, will no doubt be on the bandwagon singing his praises a few years down the line."
Thanks, Kitten. Couldn't have said it better myself. You nailed it. The naysayers are out in force, and in a year or two, when the Ponies are running roughshod over the WAC, they'll all be saying "I believed in Coach Bennett all along." Let's show that faith and support him now. Go to every game, bring a friend, and be LOUD!
Go PONIES!
