Nothing new in this article. Writer dropped big time names, but this so-called "sharing" has been the rule, rather than the exception, for a long, long time.

Of course information sharing by coaches has been going on for a long, long time.

Coaches were sharing information about the basics of football after Rutgers and Princeton played the first intercollegiate football game in New Brunswick, NJ on November 6, 1869 (Rutgers 6 - Princeton 4).
