Marketing

Postby Buckethead » Wed Jun 07, 2006 8:12 pm

Went to get my son today at the Coppell High School football camp, and there were 3 SMU Marketing people on the field handing out SMU football posters and some type of free ticket promotion. The morning group has about 250 kids in it. They have a night group for the older kids, I don't know if they came back for that or not. I went over and thank them for being there. My son grab me to do somthing before I could ask if they were doing this at other High School camps. I hope so.

We must be making the rounds at the High School Football Camps. I ran into my neighbor last night who is the head coach at Plano East and he said that SMU had marketing people and a couple of players at there camp last night. I forgot in my orginal post to say that there were suppose to be a couple of players at Coppell, but something came up that didn't allow them to be there. I think this is great that we are getting out to these type of events.
