Thanks, I needed that after the aTm clip.
Man, that Utep game might have been my favorite game last year.
And usually we don't have that many games to choose from!

Yeah, that was a frickin' hot day. And to make it worse, I was surrounded by 80,000 Ags. Man, why did I agree to go to that game?

Thats where the clip was from...at the start you can see a 2. He was #2 on the best plays of the day list.

I think it had to be either that or TCU.

Only thing wrong with TCU was that...
1) I had a freakin camera guy's @ss in my way the entire game cause of that little motor guy going up and down filming the game.
2) It was hot and there was wayyyyyy more TCU fans than SMU fans (though we were much louder than them most of the game).
3) It started at 8..and didn't get over till after midnight.

UTEP was fun especially after that awful ending to the first half where we should've scored the touchdown on their one yard line but were forced to kick the field goal with time running out.
It was just fun all around...weather was awesome...plus it had that little extra (atleast for me) when we had those UTEP cheerleaders run out across out field and wave the UTEP flags only to see their team get destoryed.

If thats what it's like celebrating 40 points for SMU every game, then lets do it more.

Needless to say, I (and I'd guess all of us) greatly prefer smoopower's clip.

I dunno, I guess I posted it for the same reason I have been a pony fan for so long......I enjoy the pain.

I hope Justin is ready for tech, I forget that he was a 3 star recruit and the number 27 Dual Threat QB. Chris Phillips (who I thought was it) was the number 28 Dual Threat QB....so Willis is a WHOLE number ahead of him......so we got that going for us. Right?

Nice. (video quality is slow, though ) Still one of my best memories of last season. I was returning from Homecoming @ Sam Houston State with a fraternity brother and his 11-year old son. We were listening to the game on the radio and before the play I said, "Throw it to Chase. He's been hot all night long." When it actually happened, we went nuts in my car! My fraternity brother's son became an S.M.U. fan for life that night!

I still get chills watching that play, and I expect I still will when I see it 20 years from now or 40 years from now. Romo-to-Chase will be a combo that goes down in Mustang lore.
