TCU-Baylor game moved to Sept. 3
03:39 PM CDT on Tuesday, June 13, 2006
From Staff Reports
TCU's football season opener at Baylor, originally scheduled for Sept. 2, has been moved to Sept. 3 to accommodate national television on Fox Sports Net. Kickoff will be at 4:30 p.m. CDT at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco.
For the first time in school history, TCU will have all its regular-season games on television. Five of those 12 contests will be seen nationally.
TCU and Baylor are meeting for the first time since the breakup of the Southwest Conference following the 1995 season. The Bears won the last two meetings to take a 49-47-7 series edge.

[b][i]Now[i][b] see why the Mountain West Conference is better?
Better coverage, better athletic-teams, better academic-schools: The Mountain West Conference.
EDIT: Is the BBCode working?

Frogie,
I will applaud your school for its marketing and general media coverage. Those are things you should be proud of.
Otherwise, it is too bad you couldn't obtain admission to SMU, UT, Texas A&M, Houston, ACU, Baylor, UTA, Texas A&M-Corpos Christi or UTD.

Yes, the code works when you use it properly, dill. You forgot the backslashes.

The ancient Chinese warrior Sun Tzu taught his men to "know your enemy" before going into battle. For if "you know your enemy and know yourself," he wrote, "you need not fear the result of a hundred battles." But, Sun Tzu warned, "If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat."

Checking SMU's schedule for this year, I don't see either TCU or Baylor on it.
