I'm looking outside and it's pouring. There are squirrels doing the backstroke in the gutters on the street. I think I just saw a pigeon flying by with a snorkle.
With that said, what does the weather do to tomorrow's game? I gather it's supposed to storm through tomorrow, maybe into Sunday. I'd think that the weather would have more of a negative effect on LaTech's passing game than on our running game, but with one qualification: WE NEED TO HOLD ON TO THE DAMN BALL.
And looking at our offensive line, I'd think that especially in the rain, we'll have more success running to the left than to the right. RT Sterling Harris is enormous, but he seems to play more of a finesse game. LT Judson Davis, on the other hand, looks like more of a brawler, someone who might relish the chance to get dirty and overpower a guy. And LG Brad Keischnick looks like a guy who'd be comfortable in a foxhole someplace. He seems like the kind of guy who will be much more at home in a Ford Stadium mudbath than he is on some pristene artificial turf field someplace. Same with Reindl and Chandler at center. I think it's too early to tell with RGs Townsend Hargis and Grant Eidson - haven't seen enough of them.
