For the past few years the people on this board have BMW'ed at the Dallas Morning News for not giving SMU props.

Now I waited a while to see if anyone would bring this up... Well....

Go back and look at the poster for Sports Day.

Who had the biggest picture - Yes, SMU with The PONY EXPRESS.

A GOOD PICTURE with SMU in it's last hay day.

 Thanks DMN
Go Mustangs

Please don't _itch about this. Just accept the good.

You're welcome. Our preaching must be paying off.

But, they have a long, long way to go to give SMU its due.

BTW: When the story is published later this month that goes with that Dickerson-James photo, my bet is it will not be a flattering look back, but another shot to our collective gut over the cheating scandal.

Any takers?

Do you have a link to the article/picture? I did a quick search of www.dallasnews.com and did not see the picture.

I think that is the one they were speaking of. Unfortunately, that is the largest/highest resolution pic I could find on the website.

Amazing that UT football player is between the 2 and the 5. You would have thought Emmit Smith, Roger Staubach, or Troy Aikman would have deserved this honor. Kind of fits with the domination in today's paper doesn't it?

Hey, Bus.

Got your foot-long photo of DeLoss Dodds from the 7/6 DMN?

No, actually Vince Young's photo was precisely the same size.

Dear Mr. Pony;
Do you have the capablilty of looking at anything in a positive manner.

You remind me of Chicken Little, not the re-made cartoon movie hero.

But the whiner, cry baby.

Hope for good things, come to the games, donate the same amount as you spend on your medicine.

See you there.

mr. pony won't be at the games. Since the DMN doesn't publicize them, he won't know when they are.

Actually, he's at most, if not all games.

I'd say his attendance record is exemplary.

Hey, guys. I'm very positive about SMU football. I think it will be a great year. I don't really understand why so many of you are so down about our prospects.

My only gripe is with the local media. And, surprise, I'm not alone.
