September 9 - Texas Tech @ UTEP

How about
September 2 - SMU @ Texas Tech
?
That obviously isn't a CUSA team playing a "top-rated" team.

They won't yet be top rated until they beat us....

A win over Tech would be a good credit for any CUSA team this year. Tech will play in a bowl game for sure and might finish in the top 20 if they beat either OU of UT.

Pat Hill may take exception to CUSA adopting this as their slogan.

I will have to agree with that one. They have proven that you need a good system QB to put up the big numbers at TTU so assuming they have that man this year I expect the Red Raiders to be a Top 25 contender yet again this season.
