I'm guessing that mr. pony and McClown will take issue with this NTSU nutjob's assessment of media bias. I'm not much for reading other school sites, but this one has become quite entertaining what with the seriousness with which they take the SMU game.
By use of the phrase "class warfare" at least he tacitly admits that SMU is of a higher class.

Boy if we have an inferiority complex, you are going to have to show me the frog fan who hopes we don't get to a bowl game for the next 10 years.

Glad to see the UNT fans realize their places in life. Always the people we hire to clean up after us. I hope we crush them on the field, then their little world will turn inside out.

I tried to post a reply on that board but the thread locked me out. The original asinine post bragged on UNT having 70% of students on financial aid. Someone may want to fact check me on this, but I was told that currently 80% of SMU students are on some form of financial aid - myself included.
Class warfare?

...your recent success in football has had little effect on your inferiority complex.

There's nothing more pathetic than two white guys doing 'rap' badly. Except maybe two white Aggies doing 'rap' badly.

My reply to them:
Nice to see the NT fans rely on stereotypes rather than actual information and/or common sense.
Class warfare? You have got to be kidding. There are plenty of people who go to NT who are rather fortunate in their financial situation, just as there are plenty of people who go to SMU who are on full financial aid. There are plenty of rich graduates of both schools.
UNT is a public institution, so it is by nature more affordable than SMU. UNT does receive funding from the state (not as much as UT or A&M, but still, it's funding), whereas SMU does not.
SilverEagle, a school has to build it's endowment by itself. SMU did that. SMU has gotten where it is by itself. Every school gets where it is by itself. It's all about making use of the resources available to you.

Asinie does not begin to scratch the surface. Maybe I could use my bag of diamonds downstairs to scratch it.
