That or the 92-96 helmet, which is very similar to the days of the Pony Express. I think we should pull a BYU and go back to the classic uniforms, enough of this MTV crap we have now.

I like 68-72. Don't know why, I just do. My second favorite is the Pony Express one. My least favorite is the silver Ohio State helmet, and 2nd least favorite is anything with a blue Mustang.

I am partial to 68-72.

If we're going 'retro', 1968-72 works for me. But I see nothing wrong with the current style, either.

I have mentioned this idea before:

The 2007 season will mark the 25th anniversary of the 1982 team that went 11-0-1, including the 1983 Cotton Bowl victory over Pitt, and finished #2 in the nation. I think for the 2007 season we should bring back the 1982 uniform for the season in honor of the 1982 team.

I'm willing to pitch this idea to Orsini.

That's a great idea- those are some sharp uniforms. They could at least bring them back for the home opener or something, but I'd like to see them reinstated for good.

I am partial to the 1968-72 helmets as well, although the red 1957-61 hats with the flying Mustang would look nice as well.
