Posted: Sat Oct 26, 2002 7:15 pmThis game was lost in the first half when we got completely away from what made us successful last week. Specifically passing on 1st and 2nd down. Today I don't believe we passed a single time on first down until way late in the game. Why would you immediately get away from what worked so well, and you are continually getting stone-walled by their run defense. Next thing you know it is 21-3.
Secondly, the defensive coordinator needs to figure out how to stop a draw after it is called and and run with unbelievable success what seemed like a million times.
