Mustangs host free youth clinic Saturday

The football team will host a free youth clinic for kids ages 5 to 13 on Saturday. Registration begins at 10 a.m. on the Ford Stadium field with the one-hour clinic beginning at 10:30. More information and a registration form can be found under "promotions" at www.smumustangs.com.

Last week I sold an old truck to some people in Lake Highlands. Their 9 year old son is a BIG time SMU fan and was talking about this camp " with Coach Bennett" He has even talk with Bennett ! Big time for a 9 year old.

The parents stated the SMU was building relationships in the community with these events.

I've got a friend who took two sons to one of these, and said they now are more diehard SMU fans than he is. That's impressive, considering he's an alum, and they're only 6 and 8 years old.
