This was in the DMN on Saturday, I was surprised someone didn't mention it. He was just hired six months ago by their new regime at Rice, they must be scratching their heads on how SMU hired him away.

I know nothing about him but..... the last thing we need is a Rice mindset with academic restrictions.

Perhaps he was so eager to leave Rice because he disagreed with the Rice mindset.

Any idea as to why Chris Walker recently left SMU?

Chris wants to be an athletic director and had a chance to be the #1 assistant at UNC-Wilmington with the prospects of having a shot at AD if and when the present person retires. It was a great opportunity for him.

Wow, I am out of pocket. Walker's leaving? He will be missed. He's a good man.

Those positions at the M-Club have been here and gone positions for a long time.
I hope that Secules, Sharp and Cooper stay around. Just turn them loose.

New leader and maybe new marketing ideas.

Has the new AD asked Secules to stay?

Anyone know the status of Secules.

I like Scott and think he is a good fit at SMU.
