While I don't care for pro ball overall, I am watching the Hall of Fame Game between the Oakland Raiders & Philadelphia Eagles game tonight to see if SMU product Alvin Nnabuife makes an appearance. Also to see if John Madden or Al Michaels screws up pronouncing his name!
Anybody else watching?
Oakland Roster shows him at DB 6-1, 205, 23 years old, Rookie from SMU.

Nnabuife just made a tackle! But you'd never know it because Madden & Michaels have their heads up their butts!

Too busy talking about who the next NFL Commish will be instead of the game!

Nnabuife came really close to recovering two fumbles.
I hope Art Shell looks at the tape and sees that he was in the right place at the right time, rather than the fact that he didn't get either one.
He's making a good impression!

Play of the day: The secondary is hungry for interceptions. Of the four during the afternoon practice, defensive back Alvin Nnabuife pulled off the most impressive feat. The rookie from SMU made a play on a pass from rookie quarterback Kent Smith, coming up with a one-handed interception before the ball hit the grass. Nnabuife added another pick during the afternoon.

Got great faith in Alvin -- good luck!
Besides, he's got to look good in practice against Old Man George, right?
