You could come down with a "fever"... and if you don't make it back to the house before your wife, you could claim you went to the pharmacey and had a miraculous recovery... (I'd stop at the pharmacy while you're out and dump half the medications out - act all loopy, and say you have to get right back to bed.)

And, by the way, don't take my advise - I'm not married. That crap might work on a girlfriend... but I don't want to be a cause for future marriage counseling. Unless of course you feel you folks could use some, in that case, by all means, this just might the straw to breaks the camel's back towards full marriage fulfillment, as it were. But no worries, it's only a scrimmage.... and the season will be only two weeks away.

I have a fever, and the only cure is Mustang football.

Too true, too true.... and we would never want that to happen.

I like your new sig line/picture.

My favorite scene in Empire of the Sun shows a young Christian Bale running across a field screaming, " P-51 , Cadillac of the sky!"

Thanks, I thought I might tie the "Cadillac" handle back into SMU. It was just a way to combine my Pony pride with my WWII Aviation nerdiness. It just took me a while to crack open Corel and get the picture done :)

Also... the SMU Texas game used to be called The Cadillac Classic.
