I'll love football and all, and high school football is great and is a wonderful panacea for all things that ail high school students and their surrounding neighborhoods and towns...

but....

you've got to be kidding me:

I seem to recall a similar ruling somewhere in Texas not too long ago. But I could be wrong. :?

...Wow. I don't see how you could even play football with someone you know for a fact will be serving time in prison right after football season. Terrible.

I can't let someone share a house with me that doesn't know the difference between student and studnent.

Anyway, to get this thread back on track: that sure is a dang shame.

How many pranks did we all pull in HS that we were fortunate not to have ended in this tragedy? How many times at SMU did we drive home having too much to drink? I was guilty of both and very lucky. Rather than worry about the penalties, we should show this article to every high school student and show how seemingly harmless pranks (and reckless behavior) can result in serous consequences--and pray for everyone involved.

Yep...that's the one. Thanks, ponyplayer. And wasn't he recruited by U.T.? He already had an orange uniform to wear. ;)

Well you and the future Mrs. LonghornFan68 can rest easy tonight because I can spell studnet. I will then attach a hose to my exhaust pipe and hook it into the vent in your room, I will make sure you two have a nice long sleep.

I am quite the stundet of peaceful rest. Back when I was tsudent at SMU, I minored such things. Ah the joys of being stduent.
