Release: 07/22/2004

Game day parking for the 2006 football season is available in the Green, Orange, and Blue lots (see below).

The Green and Orange lots are reserved for Mean Green Club members at the $250 level or higher. Mean Green Club members who purchase season tickets, will be able to select their parking preference in either the Green (between stadium and I-35) or Orange lot (adjacent to Mean Green Village and North Texas Blvd). The Orange lot accommodates those fans who desire to park and tailgate in a location easily accessible to Mean Green Village. The Blue lot is available on a first come first serve basis on football game days, including spaces for RV parking. Please review the map below.

Just to help out..... Parking at the stadium in the Green and Orange lots is for donors only. The Blue lot is available for pay parking at $10 (last season anyway). However the Blue lot fills up rather quickly with tailgaters. (This lot is usually full several hours before kickoff If you want to park there, be very early.) There is also "tailgaiting" in whats called the Mean Green Village. Its a bunch of tents set up on the rec sports fields right next to the stadium. Obviously no parking on the fields so you have to carry everything in.

There is free parking east of the Collesium and Gateway Center. You can park in any of the dorm or campus lots for free and it's a very short walk to the stadium.

Helpful hint-- Unless you get to the stadium at least 3 hrs before kickoff. Do not exit 35 on North Texas Blvd!!! Although this is the closest exit to the stadium, it can get a little congested. I've found it's much easier to exit on McCormick. Go through the intersection and stay on the service road, take a right at the shopping centers (Ave. C) an go into the campus. This will take you right to the free parking. Park in a campus lot. If you park at a business or apt complex they may have you towed.

Here's the map mentioned earlier:
