Is it just me or is Kornheiser terrible in the booth?

The city or the football team? (bad joke) Hey, 35...that game was practically in your backyard, wasn't it?

Yep. Only an hour east. I'll be there in less than two weeks for opening day for the Lobos. Woo Woo.

They DO belong in high school.

KK not playing does not bode well, I fear.

Kornheiser is still getting his legs under him, so I'm not ready to write him off (although I wish he'd stuck to what he's good at. He's the best sports columnist in the country -- it's not even close -- and PTI is the best show on TV. Why screw it up by venturing into uncharted territory?)

The whole booth is a joke. Theisman sucks, has sucked, and will continue to suck. Everybody is the greatest player ever in his eyes. Also, will Tirico just keep his rambling speeches to under 30 seconds.

Yeah, not fond of t he new MNF. I think the ratings this year will cause ABC/ESPN to reconsider this decision. And I may be in the minority here, but I miss Madden. :(

I agree that Theisman is awful, although I think Kornheiser will get better.

Tirico usually is pretty good, for a Syracuse grad (sorry -- I hate Syracuse), but last night he had a rough game. He butchered a few names .... can't remember who.

Even worse, check out the new radio broadcast. Brad Sham remains a top-shelf professional, but Charlie Waters .... ugh. Great player, great guy, horrendous commentator. Someone has to take the microphone away from him immediately.

BTW, did I hear Jerry Jones refer to Brett Favre as someone else? I can't remember what first name he used, but it wasn't Brett.

No, but Jerry did refer to "Terry" Bledsoe (to be fair, he had just mentioned Terrell Owens and Terry Glenn -- I guess he was on a roll).

Looks like they're trying to go 'retro' to the unis they had back in the early 60s. Where's Dandy Don (Mustang!) Meredith when you need him?

Ah, I knew he used the wrong name, I just didn't completely catch whose it was.
