KK not playing does not bode well, I fear.
Kornheiser is still getting his legs under him, so I'm not ready to write him off (although I wish he'd stuck to what he's good at. He's the best sports columnist in the country -- it's not even close -- and PTI is the best show on TV. Why screw it up by venturing into uncharted territory?)

Posted: Tue Aug 22, 2006 10:01 amThe whole booth is a joke. Theisman sucks, has sucked, and will continue to suck. Everybody is the greatest player ever in his eyes. Also, will Tirico just keep his rambling speeches to under 30 seconds.
Posted: Tue Aug 22, 2006 10:04 amYeah, not fond of t he new MNF. I think the ratings this year will cause ABC/ESPN to reconsider this decision. And I may be in the minority here, but I miss Madden.

Tirico usually is pretty good, for a Syracuse grad (sorry -- I hate Syracuse), but last night he had a rough game. He butchered a few names .... can't remember who.
Even worse, check out the new radio broadcast. Brad Sham remains a top-shelf professional, but Charlie Waters .... ugh. Great player, great guy, horrendous commentator. Someone has to take the microphone away from him immediately.
