Just to be fair...a fan suggested the idea to him which he acknowledged.

Well damn. Have to order a red shirt now. Maybe someone should suggest they sell 'throwback' royal blue jerseys at mustanglockerroom.com so I can put one on my three year old to replace the red one

Would white shirts be better since we will be wearing white jerseys? Also, white would stand out more than blue.

SMU fans shoud always wear red, no matter what. We shouldn't compromise just because some lame-a** team we're playing happens to use red also.
Do you think that Nebraska fans would wear some other color when they travel down to play Arkansas? Hell no!
Besides, red shows up better in the stadium, makes our crowd look bigger.
It's a crappy job but someone's gotta do it.

Not when we blend in with tech. It just makes us look like we have no fans there. Maybe wear half red and half blue if it bothers you that much.

ALL my SMU shirts are red.....yes, we are red & blue, but I have always been under the impression that red is the primary color for smu...I will have my red shirt on in Lub.

Most of my shirts are red too, but I made sure that I bought at least one blue shirt for instances like the tech game. I believe that they have an equal number of blue shirts in all of the spirit shops and bookstores.

Are some of you that dense? If all the Tech fans are wearing Red, and you're wearing Red what does that tell the team. Duh, there's only Tech fans in the stadium.

Some want to wear red and some want to wear blue. How about we settle this argument.
Tech shirts.
SMU skins. Especially our coeds. Now we will stand out in the crowd.
Just send 'da money.

I'm coming naked. May streak the field if we're ahead at halftime.

My question is, if some of the Tech fans wear their other color (black) isn't it possible that it could be mistaken for blue from the field, and if so, will players on both teams be too confused to go on.
My suggestion would be to pull out your white shirt, blue shirt, and red shirt and determine which will be cooler and wear it. Our contingency no matter what color shirts will not be large enough to make any differnece in the outcome. Those of you that go just scream loud when appropriate.
Now last time we played Tech in Dallas, I suggested we wear red in order that the team would not be deflated by seeing the larger number of red shirts versus SMU blue in our home stadium. I still go by that as long as we are outdrawn at home.
