Just know that Texas Tech is not on CSTV all access (nor on television)and the NTSU game probably will not be either. Thus neither of them will be archived.

No. As pointed out in another post, the Big 12 (Tech) does not allow the internet broadcast of games, and NTSU apparently has not figured out how to film a game with a Brownie Instamatic. SMU is working on a possible NTSU showing but it seems Tech will be in person or radio only. All SMU home games will be internet broadcast as will the away conference games. The good news is that UAB and Tulane will be on televised broadcasts as well.

so is it really worth it to get CSTV this year.. If the tech and unt game are not aired (thus not archived) and the UAB is home .. is it worth the 50 bucks to watch one game? the Tulane game looks like it is the only game that is being done by CSTV so far this year

Here's an idea.. go to the game! We'll be at both..

the only games i plan on missing without a valid exuse are the East Carolina and Tulane games.. oh my reason for that, too damn far..

Again is it worth it to get the cstv package for one game? it does not show anywhere that the east carolina and rice (which i plan on going to) game will be shot by cstv.. it does show that the tulane game will be

CSTV and internet broadcast are two different things. CSTV is a channel and the internet broadcast is...just that, an online broadcast. All of the games except Tech and maybe UNT will, at the very least, be online.

Here's the deal - you don't have to pay for the whole season. Heck, I'm not getting All Access until there's game that's actually on it that I won't attending.

Last year you could go month to month. Hopefully they are offering the same thing this year. So just hold off until the ECU game and buy a month of All Access for $7 or whatever it is, and you are set. Of course if your cable or internet provider does not offer CSTV, then buy All Access before the Tulane game.

Being able to actually see a game beats the alternative any day of the week. And $7 ain't bad.

Since I have to pick up somebody at DFW around 7am Sunday morning and then head to Possum Kingdom Lake and the game is not on TV or internet, does anybody know if any bars might be showing the game?

Is there a chance that Tech is airing it on one of their local channels which some bar might have a satellite feed for? Surely there are Tech fans in Dallas that are not going to the game and want to watch the home opener. It's got to be on somewhere, somehow! I don't care if I'm in a bar full of red and black.

If not, I guess I'll just pretend I'm in the 1940s and sit in an armchair with the radio on. :(
