The ultimate DMN bias:

Will SMU reach a bowl game this season?

Yes, the Mustangs should reach postseason play. The nonconference schedule should lead to a winning record in September. If SMU is at least 3-1 heading into Conference USA play, the Mustangs' need only three more wins to qualify. If SMU can't win six games this season, issues could arise concerning Phil Bennett's job security.

Just picked up the hard copy. That picture, btw, is FULL PAGE.

There are three sections: National with UT on the first page; Big 12 with A&M on the first page; and regional with that picture on the first page.

Under the Houston game (which they consider a loss)

Homecoming with the Mayor's Cup on the line

And and under the UTEP game..

Mustangs haven't won there since 2002

Yea...we've only played in El Paso once since 2002..
