Interesting matchup
Posted: Thu Aug 31, 2006 3:54 pmDT Brandon Bonds has lost a lot of weight, and coaches and teammates say he is playing better than ever. There will be many occasions Saturday when he lines up across from Tech RG Manny Ramirez, who is enormous (330-ish) and absurdly strong. I'm guessing the Ponies will have to rotate fresh bodies (Randy Denman, etc.) in there to help keep Bonds fresh, but this collision in the trenches could play a pretty big role in determining the effectiveness of SMU's defense against Tech's offense.
