SMU and recruiting

Most of my time is spent on the Rivals recruiting site and I just wanted to say that it looks like HCPB is in on some GREAT talent this year and already has some commits that look very solid. The reason I say this is because the previous 2 or 3 years I hadn't seen or heard much about SMU and recruiting. Now I read updates daily on kids that are looking at SMU.(btw another 3star QB just commited to the Mustangs)

Anyway, I know it has been a tough season but remember...you can't score touchdowns with a spread offense and wishbone talent....If you catch my drift.

I think HCPB is headed in the right direction and it starts with talent that he recruits.

Visit the recruiting message board for some back ground info. I took this link form the recruiting board.

Could this mean if we get Bill Foran he (Bill) would play another position ?

Go Mustangs!

It could, but according to the Morning News (which gets all its recruiting info from Rivals.com), Foran isn't thinking about us any more. (hpfan, can you confirm/deny this?) The DMN said he's looking at Illinois, Georgia Tech, Purdue and Virginia Tech.

Let's hope the coaching staff is still working on Foran, you never know as signing day is still a long way out.

Good point. Very good point.
Didn't mean to put a damper on such great news.

It's not taken as a damper. The fact are we are not on his reported list today however we just have to believe that this coaching staff will fight for the best possible recruit's who can help this program along. I'm sure you know that there are always a surprise or two on signing day around the nation.
