Stallion:

When you get a chance see if there is any updated info on a kid named Matt Simpson from Shiloh Christian Academy in Northwest Arkansas. Last year you checked and they just had the basic stuff. He is supposed to be a pretty good prospect but it is hard to tell when you hear it from Arkansas people.

Wow 9-3 would be amazing. That would have bowl game written all over it.

Wow Matt Simpson has a big l choice to make . He's the only kid I've ever seen who had "offers" from Troy and Harvard. What should he do? Has a 4.0 GPA 6-1, 200 4.75. Not rated yet. He's been to several camps like Kansas St. and Colorado and says there's some interest there. Schools involved also include Ark., Tulsa, CSU, Baylor, UCF, Tulsa. He has ungoldly stats so I'm assuming he is playing at a small private school. As a Junior he was 257-409 62.8% 4,387 yards 52 TDs 11 Ints.

Yes this is a small private and I knew you would love the fact that he is relatively short. But he apparently runs the same type of spread as does SMU and that is what attracted me to watching him.

They played Prestonwood Academy in Plano last night. Any results? Our paper here goes to bed at 8:00pm.

I apologize to the Arkansas DemGaz. Shiloh Christian beat Plano Prestonwood Christian 45-17. Simpson was 21-27 for 349 yds and 3 tds. Had passes of 45,49,and 59 yards in the first quarter after having his first pass intercepted and returned for a td.
