Do any of the next three non-conference games not count as wins if we are considered for a bowl game? Perhaps more clearly put, if we beat North Texas, Sam Houston State, and Arkansas State, would the selection committee not count one of the victories since Sam Houston is Division I AA etc.?

I think you get to count 1 I-AA win towards bowl eligibility per a certain time period. The last time I remember us playing a I-AA team was Cal-State Northridge during Cavan's tenure. So I would think the game would count.

They all count towards bowl eligibility.

That is very true. We have to win some games before we can think about bowl season, but I really think this team is different. They showed us last season that they are winners. Under Bennent our wins will not be "Miracles" but rather wins out of execution and teamwork. I am trying to keep my schedule free in December so I can go to whichever bowl they go to. Go Ponies!

Starting this year, you can count 1 win over a 1-AA team per year. So yes, all of them would count. However, it will likely take at least 7 wins for us to be selected.
