UNT Tickets

Which sections are the visitor sections at UNT? Are they the ones in black (J&K)? These are the $25 tickets SMU is selling right?

General admission tickets are $15 - are the sections separated, or can you just go buy $15 tickets, and move around wherever you want? (I'm a student - just trying to save a few bucks you know?)

Where is everyone else sitting?

I went over to Ford last week. We do have sections K and part of J at $25 per seat. The ticket clerk said that's all the UNT allocated. It looked like they were between 10 and the goal line. There's a group of 8 of us going, so if you want to sit with the SMU faithful, that would be your best bet. Look at this way: Should we win, you'll feel that the extra $10 was worth it.

When you say "there's a group of 8 of us going..." Was that how many tickets the people at Ford indicated SMU has sold from its allotment?

:D

Good one. I think we'll be 8 of the 18 there. Actually, we got the tickets the first or second day after they got them from UNT so who knows how many were sold. I hope a good number of us will be there.

I don't know about the rest of ya'll...but once I'm inside that stadium I'm gonna do everything humanly possible to move over to the 50 yd. line seats. It says 'Student Seating' there. Is that SMU or NTSU students?
J&K seating is ridiculous.

Why is it when I look at this picture I wonder if all the NTSU students have a big finger print on their computer screen where it says "press"?

Students can get tickets for $10. Just stop by Ford stadium with your student ID.

Close. There's 20,000 fingerprints on the one library computer screen where it says "press".

I think you should try to move to the 50 yd line. Either the ushers will deny you entrance or, should you make it over there, you'll have a great time sitting either in the midst of our student section or amongst our most rabid fans on the home side.

How many NTSU people did that albino rodent bite before he died?

I suspect the UNT game could get even nastier than the Tech game.

The Mean Green seem to hate us even more.

Look out for some trash talking in the stands and outside the stadium.

I hope they have plenty of security unlike those yahoos in Lubbock.

Are sections J & K facing the sun or can we leave our sunglasses @ home?

I look forward to some friendly discussions with the clown brigade. I do not have any younglings to protect. If there are any younglings in earshot, I will attempt to keep it PG. I doubt that courtesy will be reciprocated.

Sections J&K face the sun, so Id bring shades for the first quarter.

Im sure there will be trash-talking from both sides. I've never known any mean green fans to be as nasty as tech fans though, so I wouldnt worry about that. However, all bets are off if you slide into the student section. :D There is security, but I don't think it's going to be an issue. I imagine any courtesy extended will be reciprocated.

I'll be there with the fam- my brother is a student at SMU- so it should make for a fun one! Best of luck, and by best of luck I mean I hope you lose, but have a good time. Check out the campus while there... it's a far cry from the NTSU days. (oh yeah, they changed it to UNT a while ago...), and there are plenty of great places to eat
