The NTSUers are saying that this is a "Must Win" and a "Should Win" over there on their board. Some are even hoping for a blowout to prove their program is worthy of national attention and respect.
P.S. These guys really hate us; mean & green with envy

Dickey was lowering expectations last night on Ch. 8 - expecting to be 'competitive' with SMU
We SHOULD win this game. We are better in every position but maybe RB - and that is giving Jamario credit for his Freshman year, not this Jamario.
If we do not, then I will buy the bullets, you bring the gun, and Orsini can pull the trigger...

It is good that the Mean Green is taking this game seriously. The harder they play, the better it will be for our team. SMU cannot take this game lightly. We have to play hard and solid the entire game. Not to over state the situation, but all teams get up to play ND. So ND has to play hard and well every game. It makes ND a better team. We want to be in a position were everyone we plays wants to beat us and plays hard. It will make us a better team.

In your dreams. There is no way this is the biggest game in our history and I don't recall seeing any post that put THAT much importance on it. It's a game that UNT and fans would like to win and a game to look forward to because of the local nature but I can think of several games that were much more important. Heck, any of the conference championships or bowl games were way more important. But then championships and bowl games are something an SMU fan under the age of 30 wouldnt know much about.

That message board is ridiculous. Full of the same thread over and over. 3 posts in it just turns to "SMU has a lot of money; they have no class, contrary to popular belief; mommy and daddy bought their football team; my honda could murder their bmw". It's incessant and asinine.

Your right, when the albino rodent died from rabies that was NTS biggest game of the year, the under 30 crowd will know that one .................................

Overcusser must not have checked out gomeangreen. Those yahoo's are foaming at the mouth, with the magnitude of this game for NTS.

One common theme I see is that we kept them out of CUSA. I don't see how a school not even affiliated yet was able to do that. If we did, then it means we supported a current member of our conference UTEP.

I hope we kept them out of every conference they claim, [deleted] them. I could care less about the school and really have nothing against them. I do however feel pity for the delusional fan base they have. If their biggest game is against a team that has had little success over the last 20 years than that is just pathetic. I also can't believe a team that is ranked in the bottom ten thinks they SHOULD beat us. I'm OK with them thinking they could, but should is just the dumbest thing I've ever heard. They are a tiny step above I-AA...and they think we kept them out of the SWC. Uh, no guys you did that to yourselves.

It's really shocking how strange, pathetic and delusional those guys are on that board. Have you looked at this stuff? Literally hundreds of MeanGreenGems. I thought they broke the mold with him; apparently, he is the mold.
Crying bunnies? EVERY prediction is a NTSU win? A NTSU loss means fire everyone?
