Wouldn't the very mention of Dale Hansen's name cause PonyPride to delete this thread? Does he still do sports at WFAA? You never see him. Talk about mailing it in.

I agree delete this [deleted]. I was at the press conference when we got the dp. To this day I remember Hanson with his chest puff out and big [deleted] eating grin on his face. Yes I know JT it was all our fault. To this day I don't watch Channel 8 sports.

Well if you know it was all our fault, why hate the messenger. I had forgotten they won a Peabody Award for that story. Whatever station you do watch would have run with the same way. We got what was coming to us.

It seems like once upon a time there was a falling out between Jerry Jones and Dale Hanson. So many Dale is on two hit lists, ours and the Cowboys. How about it?

That's not an SMU thing. There would be nutcases doing that at any school.

Once again, it's another stigma associated with SMU because we are the only one who will ever receive the DP.

Try taking down UT sometime and see what that's like, Dale.

Hell, UT crazies were probably handing out death threats if voters didn't send them over Cal to play Michigan in the Rose Bowl.
