All I have to say about tonight...

This...really...sucks.

Sam Houston State deserves to be favored going into the game next week againist us.

i don't think i've ever been this depressed about the state of SMU football. When i started law at SMU two years ago, we were coming off the winless season, so anything was better than the previous year.

Then, last year - pleasantly surprised, even w/ the A&M and Tulane fiascos.

This year - I bought into the hype about "most anticpated season," "SMU at its pinnacle" blah blah blah - and I got burned, I had high hopes, and they were dashed.

At least my good friends (all non-SMUers) took pity on me when I got back to Dallas and gave me a Crown and coke and told me they'd still come to my Blvd tent to tailgate...

It's SMU football at it's finest, I know that much.
