Let's hope he is hurt bad enough for a medical redshirt, but still come back next year at 100%. I'd hate to waste him on this abortion of a season.

he won't get a medical, since he is already a redshirt soph.

the flanigan thing was rare and he only played 1 play.

He is already hurt badly - I just hope his injury will earn him a medical redshirt, but not be so serious that he cannot come back at 100%.

It is NOT uncommon for an injured player to (later) get a Med Red Shirt after sitting out his FR year.
