SMUMustangs.com: SMU "Falls" to [this week's opponent]

Postby BRStang » Sun Sep 10, 2006 7:52 pm

Can SMUMustangs.com ever come up with a headline other than SMU "FALLS" TO X?

Examples: SMU "Loses" to X; or SMU Embarrassed by X; or SMU Gets Crushed by X; or SMU Trounced by X.

Why always "SMU Falls to X"?!?!? Stop the PC crap all the time. Uggghhh!!

Sorry, but even the little things are getting to me this depressing (and now over) weekend.

Relax -- it's done by the athletic PR department. By the very definition of their job, they downplay any negative, and celebrate any positive - carries over to all sports.

I think we all share your frustration.
