Now that we have purged that 0-12 thought from our brains, we can narrow down the possibilities for the final regular season record.

4-8, we will win the final three games of the season after Orsini has fired Bennett, and everyone will talk about how Bennett should have been kept because he built momentum heading into next season which would have been his break-out year.

Probably no chance of us trying to get the first two games "purged" from our record a-la Oklahoma?

....and Bennett's former players will get on this forum and state what an idiot Orsini was in 2006 for firing Bennett because "Bennett was just about to turn things around". What goes around comes around. Solutions are right in front of one's face but ignored.

If you have the answer to anything (much less to everything), do something about it -- get in contact with someone who can make said changes. Trumpeting your own intellect on a fans messageboard does nothing.

I think arguments for purging losses must be based on non-coaching and non-player errors. I don't think even Johnny Cochran could convince anyone our losses were based on non-coaching and non-player errors.

6-6 and we will see Bennett and the annual hope of things "right around the corner" back for next season. It would take a below .500 record for him to get canned I think. Hopefully we win more than 6 and put an end to any thoughts of Bennett getting run.
