Anybody happen to catch the final score of ND - Mich State? Big10PonyFan, maybe you have that score? Mich State must have won since when I last saw you leaving the SMU - Ark St game you were singing the Spartans fight song and extolling the supremacy of the Big 10 +1.

I think the Mich St collapse tonight was the worst I've seen since the French Army in WWII.

I'm sure some of the State students are still in the stands with their mouths open...

God took care of both of His teams tonight: SMU and Notre Dame.

Not only God but so did the Spartans with turnovers on their final 3 possessions.

And Mustang1991, it was like I told you, the Spartans are known for doing this. It's their history, and since I know the best conference in the USA, I know Michigan State.

If you heard Chris Fowler today, he summed it up beautifully..

Some of us care - as I mentioned before, I really don't see how the occasional Big Ten talk is any more oppressive than the occasional Big 12 talk that does go on from time to time here. Some of us are not from Texas, and now that the SWC is long gone, don't really care all that much about Texas teams not in SMU's conference or on the schedule (exception: TCU - I care very much that they lose whenever possible. ). This is a site for ALL Ponyfans - isn't it (and yes of course the vast majority of the talk should be about SMU, not the Big Ten, Big 12, SEC, local pop warner league)?

Besides - BigTenPonyFan's postings are not any crueler than the old Burger threads - making my mouth water for burger joints I don't have access to anymore!

And since you're up there, you and I both know how Michigan State self destructs when it loses a game of high importance. And just think, the Spartans have Michigan on Oct. 7 and Ohio State on Oct. 14. Whoa!!

Big 12 is overrated, too.
Texas is strong, especially considering that it's running with a freshman QB.
OU? Decent but not great, by any stretch.
Tech? Uh .... no. Three points in FW don't cut it, and they had a nailbiter with UTEP.
OSU? Nope.
Kansas, Kansas State and Mizzou? Nope, nope, nope.
Nebraska? Not awful, of course, but nowhere near elite.
Colorado? Two words: MONTANA STATE

They're a decent, middle-of-the-road conference, just like the Big 10 (after Ohio State).
