Remaining Schedule

Time to look at the remaining schedule/conference schedule.

@ Tulane
@ UTEP
vs Marshall
@ ECU
vs UAB
vs Houston
vs Tulsa
@ Rice

Finish the season with 3 of our last 4 games at home.

I still question about this team being a totally different team away from Ford Stadium and these past two weeks haven't helped that question at all.

Through 4 games, 2 on the road and 2 at home, SMU is complete opposite from their home games and away games.

Home: Points For - 100 Points Against - 23
Home: Average PF - 50 Average PA - 11.5
Away: Points For - 9 Points Against - 54
Away: Average PF - 4.5 Average PA - 27

Which games do you guys think are wins?

All of them are winnable, but realistically I think we will win the following:

@ Tulane
vs Marshall
@ ECU
vs UAB
@ Rice

7-5 is about right

I agree that we could win the five games listed above. That owuld give us the 7-5 season I have been expecting, and weaking puts us in a bowl game that hardly anybody will pay to go see.

I would, I don't care where the game is, and who we are playing, I'm going.

I love it.....if we were to somehow pull off a bowl eligible season and I hear one SMU fan say...uh it is the toilet bowl. I will hit them sqaure in the face. SQUARE IN THE FACE!!!!

I think ECU is legit this year...They played WVU real tough.

We have some unfinished business with them again this year.

Let's not forget Tulsa hasn't beaten SMU, no matter how good they are, in Dallas since 1991. SMU has played Tulsa in Dallas 4 times since then.

I think being at home against Houston and Tulsa this year will help us a lot more than going up to Oklahoma or down to South, TX.

Hey...I live in South Texas...we don't claim Houston as part of South Texas LOL

True, we are at home, but UH just beak Okla State and Tulsa is playing good football. I think we have a better chance against Tulsa than Houston

If Houston hadn't beat Oklahoma then I would be worrying but they beat Oklahoma State.

And it took overtime for Tulsa to beat Navy.

Granted..we'd get our bootay's handed to us in either game but still LOL. I'm not saying we're gonna win either of them I just think we have a good chance in both of the games.

Don't underestimate Okla State (though I don't really know what to think of them right now) or Navy (where Paul Johnson is really building a good program)

Houston is playing really well. End of story. They will be a tough, tough game.

UTEP is all over the place -- who knows?! They play Tech well in the 2nd half and look good, but lay an egg vs. New Mexico.

Tulsa is, in my opinion, not the same team as last year. Without Mills to beat our D for a huge TD at the end of the game, they should have their hands full at *FORD*.

Go Mustangs. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel from all the sunshine.

Okie State beat ASU 35-7

We beat ASU 55-9

Therefore we are clearly better than Okie State.

ECU plays tough at home but I think we can beat them. I see us beating Tulane, Marshall, ECU, Tulsa, UAB, and Rice. The Sun Bowl is a tough place to play and Houston is pretty good this year. But like Codered said all of them are winnable
