When did Tulane become

a rivalry game? There is some real "heat" on this board over the game. Granted the majority of it starts with Stallion and his eternal dam#ation of the program, but I just want SMU to win.

The best thing and worst thing about C-USA is that we have no REAL rivals. I want ALL of C-USA to win when we are not playing them for the benefit of the conference. I do not have the BCS conference dreams as I think they are un-realistic, but I like the fact that Houston still has a shot.

Now, when TCU plays, I pray for large losses and numerous injuries.

Well if it looks like a rivalry game on this board - then great... I wouldn't mind building up some vitriol for them.. I've always liked Tulane. So hating them can't be too tough.

I'm not there yet, and probably won't be for years... I'm not going to be too cross should we lose, they have the whole our city was destroyed thing going for them this year... but after this year, I can see myself allowing them to raise my ire.

Now let's go out and whip their keisters!

Since when are former SWC foes Houston, and Rice NOT REAL
RIVALS :?:

It was GREAT to knock off Houston down there last year. Especially since
they were the ones to run up the score on us trying for triple digits in 89.

I pray for TCU to win because they were last beaten by us, and I pull for
any non BCS team that has a chance to crack the BCS BS :!:

CUSA west sets up pretty well for SMU because we have enough in common with each and every opponent to set up potential "rivalries". Take a poll today...or 5 years from now if this group stays together and there would be a wide range of opinion as to which divisional mate we'd most like to beat.

Maybe since we realized that New Orleans could benefit from us going over there and having a good time, and even now such a time should be more enjoyable than trips to Ft. Worth, Houston, Tulsa, and El Paso. Not to mention Lubbock & College Station.
