Tonight after the Heismann is presented on ESPN, the new movie about Bear Bryant and his ATM fb team is on. It is called the Junction Boys. It is based on the book that former SMU grad, Jim Dent wrote. Everyone watch it, should be incredible.

Thanks for the heads-up - there haven't been nearly enough promos for it.
You're right, it should be great. After all, that Bobby Knight trainwreck was a cinematic gem.

Sorry Rogers, let me back off from that last statement. I forgot to take into account the fact that Jim Dent is a much better writer than John Feinstein could ever hope to be. Maybe I'll check it out after all.

Have to admit I got sucked into the hype and watched last night. It was interesting hearing the "Aussie" accents come out at times. That movie was shot in Australia using all Australian actors (for budget reasons). I got a kick out of the early references to the A&M "bag men" when Bryant said they had to do a better job recruiting. Haven't talked to my Aggie "in$ider" in a while. I wonder how they play the game these days? One thing hasn't changed...those Aggie$ take care of their own.
