A 7-5 season maybe

Even with a 3-2 record, there may only be four more winnable games on the schedule: UAB, Marshall, ECU, and Rice. As enthused as I am by beating Tulane, my realistic expectation is for a 7-5 season. UTEP is going to be a tough road game. The passing teams are going to kill us.
P.S. I liked the way Dorsey runs.

Rice ran "our" offense very well yesterday. I was very impressed and they will give us trouble. My hope is that Army has a worse secondary than us, and that our defensive line can harass them more than Army did. But Rice is no longer and option team, and they have adapted to their new scheme much quicker than I would have thought.

Tulsa is beatable, too -- should have beaten them last year.
With that said, of course, there are no "sure" wins. If the Ponies jump the tracks, they could go 3-9. Don't see it happening, though. I'd say 7-5 is a reasonable goal at this point

I will be happy with 6-6 (which will give us a 4-4 record in conference). That should be good enough for a bowl bid. There's 7204732897489237483293 bowl games this year.

Hope you're right but I doubt it. I just don't think, with our fan base or lack there of, that 6-6 will be good enough to get us into a bowl.

Take a look at the CUSA tie-ins...you know what, get on AIM and I'll show you why I think that.

no ones saying that the secondary could of been just having a bad game either...maybe they will come out to play next week. UTEP will be tough but as we showed last year we can win...and also UTEP lost alot of defensive players..and a couple of o-line.

Well then I am happy that we got our 5 bad secondary games out of the way.
