Glad the Ponies were on TV, much better picture quality than watching it on the computer.
However, those announcers might be the worst in the history of mankind. I liked the play-by-play guy's voice, but he just seemed clueless. On the kick return for a TD, he didn't even raise his voice, he made it seem like someone returns a kickoff for a 100 yard TD every other play. His voice had more inflection on a 3 yard run up the middle.
I didn't think it was possible, but the analyst out shined his partner and was absolutely dreadful. Too many examples of his incompetence to list, but if you saw the game you know how bad it was. I saw a game a few years ago where Craig James was the analyst and I wanted rip my ears off by the end of the game. I never thought I would hear a worse called game, congratulations analyst, whatever your name is, you have dethroaned James.

Thanks mrydel for your hospitality. I very much enjoyed watching the game on a brilliant TV. And I enjoyed having a knowledgeable fan explain what should and would happen next. The color guy (no pun intended) appeared to be the product of a UT graduation rate of the lowest order. That said, he did point out some rather obvious flaws with our TACKLING and SECONDARY DEFENSE. We took an important step winning a big road game but we have a lot of areas that need improvement.

I watched the game, muted the sound on the television and listened to the Ticket. The Ticket announcers were simultaneous with the television feed. Amazing experience.

CSTV sucked, but it was great to see a game on TV. It's been a while since I've been able to watch the Ponies on the tube. The guys on CSTV were terrible, just terrible. They kept calling Thomas Morstead (sp?) . . . James Morstead. The color guy couldn't pronounce Sturdivant if his life depended on it. Hopefully the ESPN2 guys will be a little better on Halloween? Does anyone know who is calling the game on ESPN2?

Thank god I was able to watch the game at The Public House! It was so noisy with SMU fans you couldn't hear the audio. We were so loud you'd have thought we were at the Superdome, too!

I appreciate you explaining how to hold without ever beng caught. Maybe Bennett could hire you to give a lesson to our OL.

They liked the band though. They even said that they wanted to borrow uniforms for next weeks game. The camera kept showing shots of the band. Considering how little camera time the band normally gets, it was nice to see that.

I took the comments towards the band as a put down, not a compliment. I think they called the band the "prepiest band they have ever seen".

CSTV camera's and graphics are 5-10 year old technology.
However, their Saturday post-day college summary is actually a pretty good show despite Trev Albers being the co-host.
