I actually like these small reports. Sometimes there is some good info. At least they always pick us.

The fact that this writer picks SMU is great.
We CAN win this game if we play the way our players are capable. And we call the plays that put us in good position.

As I mentioned on Monday night. We can absolutely win this game. But we cannot beat ourselves with silly turnovers/penalties/and blowing chances in the Red Zone. We need 7 points not 3.

At the Start of the year I had this one as a "Willis game" where the Freshman QB shows his Froshness and learns a life's lesson while giving up the game somehow... you know, one of those losses that happens because the QB is still figuring out the game.
But after the past few weeks, it's hard to imagine Willis engineering a losing effort. It's too bad that Martin won't be out there though, that might have been the game right there.

Glad you guys are enjoying the previews. I will pass the link on to Rick as he does a good job with these previews each week and really loves the team. I am working hard to build a strong team of writers at CUSA-fans.com so I am pleased to hear the fans like what they are seeing. Your suggestions are always welcome as the site is for each and every one of you!

I don't think the UTEP fans care much about the UTEP-SMU game preview article from cusa-fans.com after reading some of their comments on their ghetto message board. Not that I really care, it's just not very objective, in the grand scheme. Don't get me wrong - I'm all for those who support SMU...
Nice article anyways.

I don't think it's supposed to be. Each school has a correspondent on that Web site.

I disagree. EVERY article that is supposed to be taken seriously at all should be written as objectively as possible. If you think the team you cover is going to win, say that. If not, you have to have the juevos to say that, too. The more objective the writing, the more legitimate the writer.

the smu utep game will be tough, but if we play like we did against ark. state and sam houston state we will pull out a major victory. UTEP is probably the second toughest team weve faced up to this point. tech was first but, willis was nervous...willis will be ready to win this huge c-usa game. its also glad to hear that some form of media is finally supporting the stangs.

from the looks of the outcomes, it appears as if the UNT game was the 2nd toughest team we faced.

So, don't take it seriously.
