UCF at Marshall tonight

Postby BRStang » Wed Oct 04, 2006 7:30 pm

6-0 Marshall at end of 1st Quarter. Marshall had a nice little drive for a TD.

I didn't realize they would have 10 days off before our game on the 14th. Great.

Oh, and the ever-important-to-college-football legend Matthew McConaughey is hanging out on the Marshall sidelines giving them his keen insights and words of wisdom. Seriously, why doesn't this hairy, pot-smoking [deleted] pick a team and watch the game from the stands...or, better yet, his apartment? [Sorry, I'm just tired of this guy and the irrelevant sideshow that he creates for his flavor of the week sports team.]

I'll be very surprised if Tulsa wins the west.

As surprised as I will be if Southern Miss doesn't win that weak Eastern division.

We lost to them last year in the last few minutes, so we have something to prove to them, and we're playing them here. Also, after we play East Carolina and before we play Houston for Homecoming, we'll have 10 days off, and we'll have 10 days off after UAB before we play Tulsa.
What I'm wondering, though, is will Craig James be in town for the UAB game since he was in Tulsa when they played USM last night?
