What is the Team Rule that was broken?

I agree that the coach, etc, should investigate this "assault", but what actually is the team rule?
No defending yourself against harrassement.
No fighting at your personal residence.
No arguments with other SMU students.
I'm not trying to make light of this, but really, what is the rule?

Not sure the exact wording, but I am sure it is something to the effect of doing something potentially detrimental to the team

Would have never happened under a program that is dedicated to winning. If it turns out that Justin TRULY did something wrong, then coach can defend himself........

NO NORE MORALE VICTORIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has got to be the school scared of "he beat him up because he is gay!" BS. This is rediculous. I don't hope Willis has personal problems, but I hope there is something more to this than what we know.

So we still don't know what the "team rule" offense was ?!?!?!?!?! Like I said before, other teams have players that carry arms, and are arrested for DUI, and are sent to jail, and suddenly, they are out of jail and on the field. . . we don't even know what "rule" was broken, and our "ray of hope" is suspended.

Kate's note makes it sound like Willis was suspended so he can concentrate on the issues surrounding the fight, not violating a team rule.

Can't be curfew, because by all reports this was a team function, with a large number of football players there, and I didn't see anyone else suspended....

You are reading too much into the kind words of Orsini.
