STOP STOP STOP
Everyone take a deep breath and relax. Stop speculating and stop repeating rumors (if we were women we'd be called gossips).
This matter will work itself out in due time, and the worst thing we can do for the program and for Justin Willis is to keep hypothesizing on facts (maybe fiction) and circumstances that are unclear at the moment.
Losing Willis is a big deal, but notwithstanding his loss we actually played quite well against UTEP after an adjusting period (i.e., the first half). Hey, it's gonna be okay. The most important thing is: DON'T PANIC!

We played with heart-not sure I'd say we played quite well. Generally, the Mendoza Line for claiming that a team played quite well is more than 190 yards total offense.

Since we got 162 in the second half we basically hit our season average for a half in the second half. I think that qualifies for doing OK.

The line is currently 5 1/2. Any guesses on where it will go if the Willis issue is cleared up and he is starting?

I hate to tell you guys but while in the stands I actually do cheer louder than 99% of all SMU Fans. To Everything There is a Season-A Time to Cheer and a Time to Advocate Changes needed in this program. Too many of you can't distinguish the difference.

Trun, turn...
Stal-dude, don't forget I've met you before. I know you're a fan. Which is why I don't mind when you are critical of the policies, etc. But I don't understand why it's all negative all the - well 99% of the - time on this baord.

Ok, folks, I suppose when I say we played "well" I should have defined that term. I did not mean we played like Ohio State; I meant we didn't play as poorly as we did in the first half, where we were outscored 17-0! We actually outscored UTEP in the second half 21-7. "Well" was intended in the relative sense: we played well compared to our opponent in the second half.
