Anyone thinking the band ought to play a tribute to that titan of mascots, BEVO. Cheeseburger in Paradise comes to mind. Who are the Whorns playing this week?

Haha... I've never heard it quite put like that. They are playing Baylor. Rumor has it Baylor thinks they have a chance.

The Baylor band should play the music from the "Beef: it's what's for dinner" commercials during timeouts

Baylor only has a chance if the Starting 22 UT players are suspended right before game time.
I still dont give them a chance if that happens.

Only if the suspension is by SMU administrators.

That would be one nasty cow to eat. I hear pony is quite the delicacy, though.

If they had played Rice this week the MOB would be salivating. Or would they dare they make fun of a dead mascot again??

Sure looks like one of those burgers from Wingfields. (best burger place in Dallas as published in D magazine)

D Magazine knows nothing about burgers. I'll take the PF.com's crew over D's recommendations, any day.
And yes, the MOB absolutely would do something hysterical.

The Fire Hydrant/
How Much is the Doggy in the Window? story is one of my favorite stories. Probably one of the few times the MOB was actually funny.

The MOB would definitely have something really tacky planned. And yes, the Where oh Where has my Little Dog Gone halftime show ranks right up there with the great moments in college band half time shows. Any time a band needs police protection to get out of its own stadium, it was definitely a kodak moment.
