I don't know if anybody followed Donald Mitchell when he played at SMU but he is very good...I think at that time I was an aggies fan before I changed my mind and decided to become a Mustang. Anyway, he's playing Corner for the Titans and he just nailed Tommy Maddox on a blitz and forced the Steelers to settle for a field goal instead of a touchdown right before halftime.

In the Tenn-Pitt game Donald did an excellent job covering the slot receiver and also came on several blitzes. He is an excellent player who was very underreated while he was here. Coby got all the ink but IMHO Donald was every bit as good.

Jacoby was better right away as a soph but Mitchel showed progress every year and pretty much matched Jacoby as a Sr.
It is clear why our secondary was so good in those years.
