absolutely.

One might look at this as a character builder for the team. Tremendous injury and extra curricular activies align against the team. I am upset when any of our key players are out. I am upset that our DEs are out this game. And one may well be our best defensive player in the front 7. One can't always prevent injuries and every team must deal with injuries. This will be a true test of Bennett's plan to develop depth at all positions. Just 2 years ago, the loss of a starting QB, RB and two star DEs would guarantee a losing season.

It is just a shame that Martin has not been able to build on a very solid freshman season last year.....hopefully his injury problems don't bother him during the rest of his SMU career..........

I wish they would have kept Martin out this past week so he could come back at 100% but it seems as if he cannot shake the injury bug.

After his run in at Lower Greenville, Martin just hasn't had the best of luck.

The holding him out of the UTEP game would have had no effect -- he injured his hamstring in practice this week.

Hamstrings suck!
