Line jumped just one point after Willis' return was announced.
What's up with that!?! He's only worth ONE point? i dont think so....

They don't know anything. They picked us to win by 3 over Ark St. I'd love to see a blowout like that tomorrow.

Relax. The line isn't set by how much Vegas thinks one team will win by. It's set as an estimate of the margin that will convince betters to split 50-50, thereby ensuring that the house (casino) wins money. Willis could be the second coming of Brett Favre, but he's still basically anonymous on the national level, hence the minimal shift in the line.

Agreed,
There isnt enough action on this game to produce a significant shift in the line. Even if the starting QB of the favored team changes three days prior to kick off, there isnt going to be much of a change. That's why its been fun to bet on SMU this year.
From a fan's prospective, I think J-Will is probably worth around a TD.
Im not saying SMU is a 'lock' at -5 (this IS SMU were are talking about), but it just seems really low to me...

I think it's a lock at -5.
But I'm still shooting for 9-3.

Experienced Gambler? Let's see no Muse, no Rodgers, probably no Martin and the questionmarks for both QBs(lack of experience and troubling forst game for Slater and lack of preparation and distraction for Willis) I'd say SMU is going to have to play a heck of a game to win.

...I agree, Stallion...NO game is "in the bag" for this bunch. Actually, "if" we really have something this year, we should beat Marchall by 20++, not sure if a 21-17 SMU W will be worthy of "mouth foaming"....
