They've played well this year, but they need to come up huge against the Herd.

Ahmad Bradshaw is really fast. With our two starting DEs either out or at least way below 100 percent, and with Haywood and Bonds tearing it up inside, you know Marshall is going to try to run to the perimeter of the field. DEs Troy Therien and Patrick Handy have played pretty well, but they haven't been every-down guys, and have not had extensive time against top offensive lines. They need to come up big tomorrow, but McCray and Hawkins need to have good games backing them up on the edge. The "sideline to sideline" phrase really has to apply to these two Saturday.

Coach Bennett always says he wants LBs who can run. He's got them, and you're right - these two need to have be huge today. Give us 10 tackles apiece, and the Ponies win.

handy is a gret young d-end, and therion is solid, but this is the definately the best rushing team we've played this season...this match up will be interesting...

The herd did well rushing in the first half, but SMU made the proper adjustments at the half and pretty much shut them down in the second half. I saw Hawkins make a couple of excellent stops!

play well
